Edward De Bono’s Six Thinking Hats

Edward De Bono’s Six Thinking Hats

Six Thinking Hats® Workshop

“From debating what is…
To designing what can be”

Program Overview

The Six Thinking Hats™ methodology teaches individuals how to “Parallel Think”. Parallel Thinking enhances communication and problem solving by teaching people how to quickly switch their thinking mode using six different angles. This approach facilitates solving problems while arriving at innovative and mutually agreeable solutions.

The Six Thinking Hats™ workshop will help participants understand their own personal thinking style while recognizing the thinking styles of others. They will become more strategic in their problem solving and better able to manage meetings effectively for high impact outcomes.

The Six Thinking Hats™ framework helps people identify their challenges when working with others. It provides a respectful way to collaboratively communicate and develop innovative solutions to business needs. This workshop engages participants using fun and experiential activities. Participants will have an opportunity to reflect on their experience and draw lessons that they can apply back on-the-job.

In summary, the workshop addresses how individuals and/or teams can more effectively:

  • solve problems creatively
  • manage meetings
  • brainstorm for innovation
  • build team synergy

The proposed approach will be based on the participants needs and includes a one day Six Thinking Hats® workshop focused on building the foundation for application of the Six Thinking Hats methodology and Creative Problem Solving tools applied to relevant business issues.
